Monte Carlo - A simple yet mind stretching game of patience/solitaire. Click the How To Play button to get a simplified slide show presentation.
To play, click the pack to deal the cards one by one to the grid of four rows and five columns. The idea of the game is to remove adjacent pairs whilst dealing or when the grid is full. The game is won when all the cards have been dealt and removed from the grid. Many games will be blocked, when no pairs are available, so there is a Best Score total kept to add to the High Score Table if you wish.
To remove a pair, click either card to highlight it and then the second card in the grid. If they are a pair they will be removed. If they are not a pair, the highlight will disappear and you can select another card. Pairs must be next to each other either horizontally, to the left or right, vertically, above or below or diagonally, to the left or right, above or below.
If you wish you can click the Check For Pairs button at any time to see if the game can spot any pairs or not. The result is shown in the top bar between the Best and Current Scores. If a game is won, where no cards remain, then an extra time bonus is added to your score.
